The Davis Enterprise calls them “cycling criers”—Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters (kneeling)—who are taking daily rides around town, for 30 consecutive days, interacting with the community, and concluding each day with a free, live performance piece at 5:30 p.m. at downtown’s E Street Plaza. Whelan and Winters call themselves Lone Twin, and their show here is titled To the Century, presented by the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts as a UC Davis Centennial event. Each evening performance builds on the previous performances, through the finale at 5:30 p.m. April 18 (Picnic Day). Follow Lone Twin online: tothecentury.mondaviarts.org.
