You don't need to be in Anaheim to follow the UC Davis' basketball teams today and tomorrow (March 12 and 13) in the Big West Tournament.

Women's basketball team

Ranked No. 1 in the tournament, the UC Davis women's basketball team prevailed today (March 12), 63-53, over No. 5 UC Santa Barbara. The Aggies advance to the championship game set for 1 p.m. Saturday (March 13) — to be carried on Fox Sports Prime Ticket cable television. If the Aggies win that game, they clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament; the tournament seedings are due to be decided late Sunday afternoon (March 14).

Should the Aggie women lose the championship game, they will be in the Women's National Invitation Tournament; those seedings are to be determined on March 15.

Men's basketball team

The men's basketball team, ranked No. 4 in the tournament, will face top-seeded UC Santa Barbara at 6:30 p.m. today (March 12). Coverage is scheduled on KFSG 1690 AM, ucdavisaggies.com, ESPNU and Big West TV.

Should the Aggies win, they advance to the championship game at 5 p.m. Saturday (March 13), with coverage on KFSG 1690 AM, ucdavisaggies.com and ESPN2. A win would earn the Aggies a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
