UC Davis Extension has scheduled information sessions on 15 of its professional education programs, from Accounting, Conflict Resolution and Construction Management, to Supervisory Skills and Management Development, Web Development, and Workplace Health and Safety.

UC Davis faculty and staff, as always at UC Davis Extension, are eligible for discounts of 20 percent to 50 percent.

The industry-specific information sessions are free, Aug. 5 to Sept. 10. You can see the complete schedule here.

A spokesman said the information sessions will provide Sacramento-area working professionals with the opportunity to network with peers, meet with instructors and other program representatives, and learn how continuing education (and UC Davis Extension certificates) in high-demand fields can help with career growth.

Space is limited; reservations can be arranged online.

Most of the sessions are due to be held at UC Davis Extension at Sutter Galleria, 2901 K St., Sacramento, with free parking. The program Health Informatics and Health Care Analytics will be the topic of an in-person information session (Aug. 13) and a webinar (Aug. 20).
