Students sing during the Oct. 18 grand opening celebration of an Oak Park research preschool that opened this fall thanks to St. HOPE Public Schools, the School of Education at UC Davis and the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute. The school, named the Triumph Center for Early Childhood Education, is aimed at teaching young children and understanding better ways through research to help youngsters learn. The school hopes to eventually enroll 75 to 80 children.
