Summertime is a good time for ice cream and an even better time for free ice cream. Which is exactly what you will receive — a coupon for a free pint of Baskin-Robbins ice cream — if you participate in a campus blood drive this month.

Organizers said BloodSource mobile labs will line up along the west side of the Quad to accept donations from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18 and 19. People are advised to eat and drink plenty of fluids before donating, and to please bring photo ID.
