Remember all those photos a year ago showing tiny, squeezeable cow toys in all sorts of funny scenes? Like "Are You Our Mudders?" and "Chancellor Vanderhoof" and "Kissin' Cowzins"?
Well, the campus's Mediation Services announced another round, this year with the theme "How Cow-razy Can You Get?" Everyone in the campus community is invited to submit entries from Nov. 19 through Dec. 31. "This is our fun way to challenge everyone's creativity, build some comradeship and encourage a positive outlook for Mediation Services," said Lisa Harry, the unit's program coordinator.
Mediation Services gives out the cows year-round to publicize the unit. If you need a cow, call (530) 297-4480, then get your camera ready. Two rules: a maximum of five entries per person, and no photos from last year. E-mail them to slnguyen@ucdavis.edu.
Prizes, including a sweatshirt from the bookstore and bratwurst from the Meat Lab, plus a variety of gift certificates, are due to be awarded in these categories: best single cow, best herd entry, best reference to mediation, best human impersonation, most intricate scene, best costume and best play on words.
