“Romeo” and “Juliet” steal a kiss under a bridge in the UC Davis Arboretum during the Valentine’s Day Sonnet Walk, presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance, the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts and the arboretum. More than 120 people took the stroll, interspersed with readings of Shakespeare’s love poems. Students Mason Leonardy and Jenna Chen, as Romeo and Juliet, performed a sonnet from the play. Two costumed actors, Hillary Feineman-Klausner and Robert Reimers, served as “set decoration” on another bridge.
