Oct. 28, Friday -- Pajama-clad UC Davis students and others will greet alumni returning by train for Homecoming weekend beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh! will play as the student alumni association, spirit teams and other Aggies meet train #549 from Auburn arriving at the station on Second Street in Davis about 7 p.m. Friday. The group will then parade through downtown Davis to the bonfire south of the Schaal Aquatic Center at La Rue Road and Garrod Drive at 8 p.m. There, the band and the spirit teams will pump up the crowd on the eve of the football game. Kickoff for the game between the Aggies and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Toomey.
