About 100 seats remained as of midweek for the Oct. 15 Staff Open Forum. But even if you miss out on a seat, you can still attend — by viewing the live webcast:

The forum is scheduled from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the ARC Ballroom. Organizers said the chancellor and provost and others will present a budget update (including initiatives to help address the financial crisis, and information on furloughs and campus closures), plus a report on the vision for the campus.
The presentations will be followed by a limited question-and-answer session, with frequently asked questions and others submitted during the forum.
Seat reservations are being taken on the UC Learning Center Web site: lms.ucdavis.edu (search for “HR Forum”).
