The Athletics Department announced a new promotion, UC Davis Staff and Faculty Day With Aggie Football, offering a ticket discount for group seating. The inaugural Staff and Faculty Day is scheduled for Sept. 12, when UC Davis hosts the University of Montana in the Aggies’ home opener.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Aggie Stadium.
The price is $12 per ticket (a 40 percent savings off the reserved price), plus a $5 handling charge per order. “You can order as many tickets as you would like. Family and friends are welcome through the discounted rate as well, as long as you order the tickets through me and mention you are with Staff and Faculty Day,” said Nellie Aube, assistant director of promotions for Intercollegiate Athletics.
Aube said the deal comes with reserved seats, plus group recognition via the public address system and on the video board.
Also new this year, the Athletics Department is offering pregame private party options for $15 to $40 per person. All options come with sodas and chairs and discounted ticket prices. Also available are tables and tents, and food, wine and beer. If tents are not included, the party space is roped off. The minimum number of guests for a private party is 25; Gunrock will visit parties of 100 or more.
