Bus arranged for Giants game

Staff Assembly announced that it has arranged for a charter bus to and from AT&T Park for UC Davis Day with the San Francisco Giants. Also, Staff Assembly issued a final reminder about this year's UC Davis Picnic at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

Giants game — Staff Assembly has a limited number of tickets left for the Giants' 1:05 p.m. game Sept. 23 vs. the Cincinnati Reds. The Staff Assembly discount ticket price is $30; buy tickets at staff.ucdavis.edu (click on "Summer Fun!" and then the Giants icon). The bus option is $15 round trip; call Staff Assembly coordinator Le Tran at (530) 752-0988 if interested. Bus capacity is 57.

Discovery Kingdom (the Vallejo amusement park formerly known as Marine World) — Staff Assembly's discount ticket price for the Aug. 11 event is $30.99, including a buffet lunch, for ages 3 and up.
