The campus has officially launched its search for a new dean of the College of Biological Sciences, to succeed Ken Burtis, who is completing a six-year term.

Burtis announced in July that he would step down from the dean's post, in order to return to teaching and research next year.

The full announcement of this recruitment is available online (click on "Executive Recruitments 2010"), and the official job description for the dean’s post is due to be added there shortly.

The website includes contact information for the search firm that is assisting with the recruitment and advice for providing nominations.
