Healthy Davis Together has issued a call for personal stories and perspectives — in the form of short videos — about the importance of COVID-19 prevention measures, the Healthy Davis Together project and why individual actions are so important.
The city-UC Davis partnership, which provides free asymptomatic testing to anyone who lives or works in Davis and their immediate households, aims to share people’s testimonials on Healthy Davis Together social media and website and potentially in advertisements. Participants are encouraged to post to their own social media channels, as well.
Submissions are welcome from residents of Davis and the surrounding community
“Storytelling is powerful and can move people to action,” organizers with Healthy Davis Together said. “We all have personal stories about the pandemic and its impact — and we’d like your help in sharing stories that promote individual and community health and well-being.”
Healthy Davis Together has prepared two PDFs for people interested in participating:
- Community Testimonial Toolkit (includes an overview and information on how to submit)
- Best Practices for Filming
