He notified UC Davis police, who had last checked Mrak Hall at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. At that time the vandalism had not yet occurred.During their investigation of the incident UC Davis police officers recovered steel ballbearings on the ground near the broken windows. In addition, Mrak Hall employees discovered further damage from broken windows on the fourth and fifth floors. One window in 433 Mrak was broken as was a window in 568 Mrak. All damaged windows face the south side.Physical Plant estimates the damage to be in excess of $3,000. The campus police department is continuing to investigate the case.
