May 27, Thursday -- UC Davis economics professor Robert Feenstra will examine statements made about outsourcing during this presidential campaign, offer an economic analysis of the issue and suggest how the public should approach the debate. Feenstra directs the International Trade and Investment Program for the National Bureau of Economic Research as well as the Center for International Data at UC Davis. He is also an associate editor of the American Economic Review and the Journal of International Economics. His talk, sponsored by the Institute of Governmental Affairs, takes place 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the IGA Reading Room, 360 Shields Library, UC Davis. The talk is free and open to the public.
