Oklahoma! opens May 2

Like the wind that comes sweepin’ down the plain, the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Oklahoma! is sweepin’ onto the UC Davis stage, starting May 2. Pictured are two of the lead characters: Curley McLain (played by Tristan Rumery, a professional equity actor) and Laurey Williams (played by UC Davis student Emma Goldin). This UC Davis Centennial event is a joint production of the Department of Theatre and Dance, and the Department of Music. (Read this article from the April 17 edition of Dateline, to learn more about the forthcoming production.)
