Anyone with a broomstick and some imagination can partake in a new sport created by Harry Potter enthusiasts of the nonwizard kind. The UC Davis Muggle Quidditch team meets each Saturday afternoon (at different locations) for practices. The squad is working toward obtaining intramural club status for the sport, which is played by official Intercollegiate Quidditch Association rules and includes more than 200 participating institutions worldwide.
