Missing UC Davis Researcher Found

The University of California, Davis, Police Department reports that the missing person they were seeking Wednesday night has been found alive and safe.

Police say Victor Jin of Sacramento, a 41-year-old post-doctoral researcher at the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility, was found about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Sacramento area and has been admitted to a local hospital.

Jin had been last seen at 2 p.m., July 19, at the genome facility. According to police, co-workers said Jin was "exhibiting erratic behavior and acting strange." He was reported missing on Monday by a campus professor after he failed to show up for work.
