Tiqula "Ty" Bledsoe will take office March 15 as president of the more than 19,000-member Associated Students of UC Davis (ASUCD). A senior majoring in political science, he will serve as chief executive officer of the undergraduate student government and as ASUCD's official representative to all governmental bodies and agencies as well as to the campus and UC system administrations. Dan Beaman, Bledsoe's running mate in the Feb. 21 student election and a sophomore with an undeclared major in the social sciences, will serve as vice president.
