June 16, Saturday -- A.G. Kawamura, secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture, will be among the guest speakers as UC Davis holds the last of the season's commencements this weekend. He will speak at both ceremonies of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday in the ARC Pavilion. It's estimated that the two ceremonies will bring the total number of degrees awarded by the college to 1,490 for the year.
