Oct. 8-9 -- Nutrition, skin diseases, shoeing, behavior problems and body structure will be among the topics addressed Saturday during the annual UC Davis Horse Day, sponsored by the Department of Animal Science. The program is designed for both professional horse breeders and hobbyists. Afternoon highlights will be a demonstration on how to train a cutting horse and a tour of the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.
