Nov. 13, Tuesday -- The public is invited to join food industry representatives and members of the UC Davis community for a daylong symposium examining what drives consumers to eat fruits and vegetables and how consumption can be increased. The event, titled "Increasing Fruit and Vegetable Consumption: Is It a Matter of Taste?" will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Walter A. Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center at UC Davis. Speakers will include food scientists and public health professionals. The symposium is coordinated by UC Davis' Center for Fruit and Vegetable Quality and the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science.
