MBA Students to Model for Wardrobe Workshop

Feb. 20, Friday -- MBA students will serve as models when a Bay Area consultant presents a Sacramento workshop on the professional wardrobe for UC Davis' Graduate School of Management. "The spectrum of attire appropriate for the workplace has made major changes over the past couple of years, leaving room for plenty of error," says Anthea Tolomei, a style and fashion educator. "The number one reason to get it right? Your competition. The number two reason to get it right? Missed opportunity." As principal of Tolomei and Associates, she works with individual clients and presents group seminars. Career services at the management school is offering the workshop, which requires advance registration, for its students, alumni, and faculty and staff members. A wine and cheese reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at One Capitol Mall, and the two-hour workshop will follow at 6 p.m. For more information, call (530) 752-4003.
