“They’re still here?! You better believe it! The Lone Twin duo is STILL at it! They said 30 days, and they meant it! No day off for them!” — To the Century blog, March 26

Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters are Lone Twin, and they are documenting 30 days in the life of UC Davis and the Davis community in this UC Davis Centennial event.

Each day, the duo sets out on bikes from the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, on a five- to six-hour bike ride observing and collecting stories about the community.

At 5:30 p.m. each day, Whelan and Winters present a free, live performance piece at the E Street Plaza, between Second and Third streets in downtown Davis, with each piece building on the previous evening’s up until the final, cumulative performance, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. April 18 (Picnic Day).

Check out the performances, or follow Lone Twin on the To the Century blog, which includes commentary and videos.
