Dear Editor:

The Davis Faculty Association wishes to inform the campus that it has raised questions about the structure of the new Davis professorial salary scale — questions about its implicit transformation of professor step V and above, and questions about its relation to the concept that all faculty in the same college and at the same step should receive the same salary.
