Kids Can Get Feet Wet Learning About Tahoe

Children ages 8 and older are invited to spend the day at Lake Tahoe on Thursday, Aug. 4, learning about the environmental challenges facing the Tahoe Basin.

The 6th Annual Children's Environmental Science Day is a free event sponsored by Lake Tahoe School in cooperation with the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center and many other groups.

Registered attendees will gather at The Pavilion at Sand Harbor State Park, on the northeastern shore of Lake Tahoe, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. They will be supervised by Tahoe School teachers. Lunch will be provided, plus T-shirts and a boat ride.
