Integrated Studies 8B stages Cymbeline

After a quarter of intensive reading and rehearsal, Freshman Integrated Studies 8B is inviting audiences to see William Shakespeare's Cymbeline, “complete with voyeurism, incest, mayhem and mutilation,” according to a news release.

Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. June 5 and 6 in the Wyatt Pavilion Theatre. The public is welcome; admission is free, with seating on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Michael Yeack, in charge of publicity, said in his news release: “Spend an evening seeing one of Shakespeare’s last (and strangest) plays!” — a romance about a family’s slow and torturous coming together, after a long separation.

Eric Schroeder leads the Playing Shakespeare class.
