All graduate and professional students are invited to the first-ever Graduate Write-In hosted by the Graduate Writing Fellows Program.

“Bring your laptops, drafts or doodles and join us for an all-day session of writing and camaraderie,” a news release states. The write-in is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 5 in 25 Wellman Hall.

Organizers said graduate writing fellows will be on hand to assist graduate and professional students with questions or concerns about their writing projects. Students are invited to work independently or in groups, or to take advantage of 30-minute drop-in appointments.

“This event is free and no registration is required,” organizers said, “so don’t put off that final paper, thesis chapter or dissertation outline any longer. Instead, bring new life to Dead Day by tapping into your creative energy.”
