The UC Davis football team has a chance to bring home the Big Sky Conference championship Saturday (Nov. 16) when it faces off against Montana State at UC Davis Health Stadium.

The winner of the game will also earn the Big Sky Conference's automatic qualification to the NCAA FCA Playoffs. UC Davis is ranked No. 4, while Montana State is ranked No. 2.

Kickoff is set for 5 p.m., and the game will also host its own version of the Picnic Day favorite Doxie Derby during the first half.

The Aggies have a perfect 6-0 record in Big Sky Conference play, including last weekend’s 30-14 win over the University of Montana that was nationally televised on ESPN. That performance was enough to earn UC Davis the title of Stats Perform FCS National Team of the Week.

Individual members of the team have earned accolades, too: Quarterback Miles Hastings is an All-American candidate, while Lan Larison leads all running backs in the nation in both receiving touchdowns and yards.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, Scripps, KQCA My58 and  KHTK 1140 AM.
