UC Davis Cooperative Extension Specialist David Campbell can talk about the effect faith-based organizations are having as intermediary organizations between immigrant/refugee groups and local social service systems. He is part of a research team evaluating the California Community and Faith-Based Initiative run by the state Economic Development Department. Campbell has also studied faith-based groups that participated in state welfare reform.
