Unitrans interim General Manager Anthony Palmere welcomes George Moore of Davis aboard a new Unitrans bus that runs on environmentally friendly compressed natural gas and features a wheelchair ramp and "low-floor" body design. It was one of 18 clean-running, disability-friendly buses added to Unitrans and Yolobus fleets in a joint ceremony outside the MU in late December. With the addition, the Yolobus fleet becomes 100 percent clean running; and with its five additional buses, the Unitrans fleet is now 90 percent clean-running.
