A return to ‘Cam’pus
Hellacappella, the annual a cappella showcase hosted last week by The Spokes, drew some guests who are more than a little familiar with the event.
Cam, or Camaron Ochs ’06 (subject of the cover story in the fall-winter 2018-19 edition of UC Davis Magazine), may be best known for her 2015 double-platinum single “Burning House,” but at UC Davis she’s known at one of the co-founders of The Spokes. She and Jaclyn Cohen ’06 — now a rabbi — formed the group in 2004.
Cam took over the UC Davis Instagram account to document the day’s activities, which included a meeting with Chancellor Gary S. May. Watch her videos on Instagram (an account is required).
