Conference, Exhibition Features Indigenous Photography

April 7-9 -- An international lineup of indigenous photographers who focus on their native lands, communities and the development of indigenous photography will participate in a conference hosted by the C.N. Gorman Museum and the Department of Native American Studies. “Our People, Our Land, Our Images," which welcomes the public to attend its artist talks and other sessions over the weekend, coincides with the opening at 5 p.m. April 7 of an exhibition of the photographers’ work at the C.N. Gorman Museum in Hart Hall. The public can attend conference April 8 and 9 in Kleiber Hall with a starting time of 9 a.m. each day. Admission is free. The exhibit will run through June 23.
