* Nov. 23, Sunday -- The UC Davis Craft Center invites the public to its annual holiday open house, featuring hands-on activities and craft demonstrations. Adults and children alike can try their hand at making holiday ornaments and gifts including jewelry, painted silk scarves, paper, soaps and candles. Prices for craft materials range from $1 to $10.
