The New Pacific Trio, artists-in-residence at the University of the Pacific, visit UC Davis next week to present a Free Noon Concert and a master class. The musicians are Igor Veligan, violin; Nina Flyer, cello; and Sonia Leong, piano. Both events are scheduled for May 1 in 115 Music Building.

Free Noon Concert -- Chen Yi: Tibetan Tunes (written for the New Pacific Trio); and Tchaikovsky: Trio in A Minor, op. 50.

Master class -- 3:10 p.m. Observers welcome (free).
