Students face a drizzly day Wednesday as they get off buses and head to class for the first day of winter quarter instruction. Approximately 23,500 undergraduates and 3,900 graduate students are on campus. In addition, there are about 2,800 students enrolled in UC Davis professional schools. Winter quarter ends March 24.
