The University of California, Davis, Graduate School of Management and the Financial Times will host their third annual Biz Quiz on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The buzz-in quiz contest offers an opportunity for participants and observers alike to test their knowledge of the global news cycle, with a host asking questions based on Financial Times content.

For the in-person event at UC Davis, teams of three graduate students from select business schools compete in preliminary rounds, with the top three teams advancing to the final round. New for this year, individual players are also able to compete remotely in Biz Quiz Online. People must sign in to the site to get access to Financial Times content that will help them compete.

A livestream of the event is also available. 

Two UC Davis teams will join teams from seven other schools in the competition.

The schools participating include:

• California State University at Fullerton
• California State University Sacramento
• Rutgers Business School
• UC San Diego Rady School of Management
• University of San Francisco
• University of Texas at Austin
