Tristan Rumery, a professional equity actor, and UC Davis student Emma Goldin performed before about 150 people at the Chancellor’s Laureates luncheon in the ARC ballroom on May 8. Rumery and Goldin were acting in the the UC Davis Centennial production of Oklahoma! that was showing at the Mondavi Center through May 10. Just a day after her official announcement, chancellor-designate Linda Katehi came to campus for a morning introduction and later attended the laureates’ luncheon and, in the evening, Oklahoma! The Chancellor’s Laureates comprises people and organizations who have been the leadership donors to UC Davis, with each Laureate cumulatively donating $1 million or more to campus programs.
