Nov. 15 to 19 -- Transgender identities and issues will be explored during Trans Action Week, organized by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center at UC Davis. A transgender person is an individual whose self-image or perceived identity is not traditionally associated with the individual's biological makeup. Events will include information sessions; documentary screenings; and discussions on the status of transgender people in Latin America and on the connections between body art and struggles over sex and gender.
