To ensure that Fall Commencement on Dec. 14 runs smoothly, organizers are inviting staff members to participate as commencement ambassadors and serve in a variety of capacities.

Ambassadors are needed to support graduates, guests, faculty and the stage party to ensure that commencement is a positive experience for everyone.

Fall Commencement will be held at the University Credit Union Center on campus.

Roles are described on the registration website, and volunteers may choose their preferred assignment. Ambassadors must be available to work a five-hour shift from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and attend in-person training on Friday, Dec. 13, from noon to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided at the training.

Registered ambassadors will receive a $75 gift card, along with a commencement T-shirt, name tag, food and beverages. Ambassadors will also receive complimentary parking. No compensatory time or overtime will be provided.
