The TGFS theme for 2008 is "Reaching for the Stars," so Staff Assembly gathered 'round a telescope on the roof of the Physics and Geology Building to take the photo for this year's Guess the Weight Contest. Sweig and Helbing are undergraduates who work as marketing and sales representatives for Staff Assembly. For the contest, guess the combined weight of the telescope and the people. An enlarged version of the photo will be posted at the TGFS Picnic on May 7, and people are invited to take a look and submit their entries at that time. The person who comes closest to the correct weight will win four tickets to an area theme park. The 2008 theme and logo are the products of another TGFS contest, with Maria Saldana-Seibert submitting the winning theme and design. Saldana-Seibert is marketing coordinator for Education and Support Services in Accounting and Financial Services.
