Staff Assembly wants to know: Do you have the moves? A voice like Carrie Underwood? Can you strut your stuff? Do YOU have what it takes to become the next TGFS Idol?

The talent contest is part of the Thank Goodness for Staff celebration set for May 7.

"Your talents can range from singing, dancing, juggling, magic tricks, telling jokes, stupid human tricks — the sky's the limit!" declares the Staff Assembly Web site. The signup deadline is April 25.

More TGFS activities:

• Bowling tournament -- Sign-ups are being taken for April 23, 24, 29 and 30, and May 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Starting times are 5:30 p.m. for practice and 5:40 for competition. The cost is $28 per four-person team.
• Fun run-walk -- May 6.
• Golf tournament -- Starts at 7:30 a.m. May 3, Davis Muni Golf Course. Four-person scramble with a blind bogey.
• Volleyball tournament -- Began March 31.
