UC Davis Police are seeking a suspect following two sexual assaults that took place on a bike path near the ARC Pavilion on the UC Davis campus about 8.30 this evening, May 24.

The suspect assaulted police before escaping and is currently being sought. He was last seen about 9.30 pm near the Colleges at La Rue student residences on La Rue Road.

The suspect is a white male, 6’ and 175 lbs, short brown hair, wearing a blue shirt with the number ‘24’ on the back, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

If seen, do not approach the suspect but secure yourself in a safe area and call 911.

UC Davis police issued an automated warning through text messaging and cell phone calls about 11 pm on Tuesday.
