No Friday Update on the Fourth; look for the weekly e-mails every week in summer thereafter

This updated Dateline UC Davis Web site substitutes today for the printed edition of the newspaper, which comes out fewer times in summer. The next issue comes out July 18, and publication dates after that are Aug. 1 and 22, and Sept. 19 and 26.

In between editions, you can look for news updates on the Dateline Web site: dateline.ucdavis.edu.

Also, look for the university's Friday Update e-mail. It will not come out next Friday, the Fourth of July, but will arrive in your e-mail inbox on July 11 and every Friday thereafter during summer.

The university's online calendar (calendar.ucdavis.edu) is updated daily. To post an item at any time, go to the calendar page and click on "Submit a new entry" near the upper right-hand corner of the page.

The News Service uses the online calendar as the basis for the calendar listings that appear in the printed edition of Dateline. To be sure your calendar items appear in Dateline, submit them by 9 a.m. Thursday the week before publication.
