The following three programs conclude the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts' 2007-08 season:

Alexander String Quartet -- Two guest musicians, violist Andrew Duckles and pianist Lara Downes, are set to join the quartet for a program of Brahms chamber music to be performed twice on May 11, at 2 and 7 p.m. in the Studio Theatre.

As always with the quartet, music educator and composer Robert Greenberg is part of the program, offering introductory remarks about the featured composer's life and music.

The concert: String Quintet No. 2 in G Major, featuring Duckles; and Quintet for Piano and Strings in F Minor, with Downes, Mondavi Center artist-in-residence.

Chiara Civello -- Italian-born singer Chiara Civello learned jazz at the prestigious Berklee School of Music and in the nightclubs of Boston, then moved to New York to immerse herself in the city's rich melting pot of Latin, Brazilian and Caribbean music. The result is a unique vocal and songwriting style that uses the jazz tradition as a starting point and encompasses Brazilian music and contemporary pop with a uniquely Mediterranean twist. 8 p.m. May 14-17, Studio Theatre, with caberet seating.
