Joe Goode Performance Group: Wonderboy and 29 Effeminate Gestures — In Wonderboy, “fearless innovator” Goode integrates dancers and puppets (in collaboration with puppeteer Basil Twist), presenting the tale of a peculiar superhero, one who is isolated by his gift of sensitivity. Violinist Joshua Bell — The one-time child prodigy is in his 30s now, and among the most respected classical and chamber musicians in the world. He is known for his stellar recordings and his performance in the film The Red Violin. Also, Mondavi Center audiences know him for his direct, personal interpretations in previous concerts here.
