Musical Portraits from Heber Springs: Bill Frisell’s Disfarmer Project — The composer and guitar player imagines an Arkansas mountain town in the 1940s, presenting his music against a backdrop of Mike Disfarmer’s black-and-white period photographs. 8 p.m. April 4, Jackson Hall. Preperformance lecture by Professor Terry Nathan, Art-Science Fusion Program, and the Atmospheric Science Program of the Department of Land, Air and Water Resources, 7 p.m., Jackson Hall. Post-performance question-and-answer session.

Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater Co. — Pneumatic wizard Garbo and Brazilian ballerina Daielma Santos. Physical comedy, dance and juggling — and inflatables. 3 p.m. April 5, Jackson Hall.
