Middle East Peace Expert to Talk About War on Terrorism

* April 24, Thursday -- Bruce W. Jentleson, director of the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University, will talk on "Winning the War? Winning the Peace? Iraq, the Middle East and the War on Terrorism." A specialist on Middle East military policy and peace negotiations, Jentleson chairs the Department of Public Policy Studies at Duke and is a former senior foreign policy adviser to Vice President Al Gore and the Gore-Lieberman presidential campaign. He has also served as special assistant to the director in the U.S. State Department and directed the Washington office of the UC Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation. Sponsored by the UC Davis Institute of Governmental Affairs, the talk takes place at 3-4:30 p.m. in MU II, Memorial Union, UC Davis.
