Brian McCurdy, assistant vice chancellor for the Mondavi Center Presenting Program, is leaving campus to become director of Modesto's Gallo Center for the Arts. Slated for completion in late 2006, the center will include a 1,200-seat main hall and a 400-seat theater.
McCurdy, who came to UC Davis in 1999, is expected to begin his new job in late September. For more about McCurdy's work on campus, see the May 13 Dateline online at http://www.dateline.ucdavis.edu.
