Oct. 9, Monday -- Rick Lenny, head of The Hershey Company, will speak to business leaders at a UC Davis event. Robert Lorber, president of Lorber Kamai Consulting Group and chairman of the Graduate School of Management's dean's advisory council, will moderate an informal conversation with Lenny, who is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Hershey. One of North America's leading manufacturers of confectionery and snack products, Hershey has annual revenues of more than $4 billion and more than 13,000 employees worldwide. Lenny, who also has provided leadership with Nabisco Biscuit Company and Kraft Foods, has been recognized by Supermarket News, Institutional Investor, Barron's and Brandweek for his influence in the food industry and the quality of his leadership as a chief executive officer. He is also a member of the board of McDonald's Corp. and chairman of the Grocery Manufacturers of America. Lenny will address a meeting of the Business Partnership Program of the management school, and members of the media are welcome to attend the invitation-only event. The meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center on campus.
